I suggest you look around tatto artists. Those are the ones who pobably better than anybody work with simple lines

You might get in touch with freelance artist Augie Pagan. He did a logo for an Ama diver-themed restaurant that I thought was great (the diver is in the traditional head kerchief-and-briefs attire that Ama divers used to wear before the introduction of wetsuits and fins into their industry).
