Do you have what it takes to be a Commentator at the most exciting individual freediving competition of 2012?
We are looking for someone who will be stationed on the platform in Dean's Blue Hole during the competition, announcing athletes and commentating on the proceedings. Their voice will be broadcast to both:
– a live internet audio feed (via cellphone hook-up).
– a loudspeaker on the beach for the benefit of spectators.
This is a paid role. At least all your expenses of getting to the island and staying there would be covered. Depending on travel expenses, there may be some funds left over to cover some loss of wages.
We are looking for someone who:
– speaks perfect English, and has a good 'radio voice'
– has fluent knowledge of freediving, its history and competitors
– is lively and witty!
– works well with a team on a small platform for several hours a day
There may be some minor additional duties, such as helping the media team with material and daily summaries.
