While diving in my school's pool I have noticed every time I go down to the bottom I always have water entering my ear. I notice that when I go down completely vertical this is when it happens. Should I welcome the water, or should I try to keep it out by going to the bottom on an angle?

Thanks.

Which ear do you actually mean? inner or outer? if it's the outer then there's no need to worry much about it, i mean, it's pretty much obvious water gets there when you dive. If it's the inner then you should contact a good doctor.

If it's still there a couple of hours after it can become a problem. Use swimmer's ear drops from the pharmacy. Wear a cap if it really worries you, but you are in the water...

when you get dry, put some Boric acid 3% solution1 minute for each ear, than dry it with the phon, no ear problems at all from dirty water or other stuff, i reagurally go to the swimming pool 3 hours a day 5 times a week, without counting the lake o sea trainings, never had otitis or ear infection since 4 years.
