"waterproof" Suits

Does anyone have experience of Waterproof (Swedish) wet or drysuits? I am looking at getting a 5ml scuba suit from them and a Sedna neoprene drysuit.

Have tried them on and they feel and look great but I wondered how hard weaing they are

Anyone out there know?

I have the 3mm and I'm satisfied with it.

My wife has the 3mm and the 5mm. She's generally happy with them but wouldn't buy them again. She finds them too tight in the chest area compared to design that use a more extra flexible neoprene in the front.

As far as wear goes, ours seems to be doing fine. Got about 50 dives, all sea, on mine and nothing negative to report.

Actually the "dry" suits are the most dry of any style of protection. "Wet" suits are obviously wet for a reason.........insulation. As I get older I find I need more thickness in my suits even in the warmer waters.

Having said all of that..........I wore a .5 mil skin suit in Fiji and the natives work 3-5 mil suits because the water was "cold" at 84 degrees. So I guess if your used to the colder waters its all realtive.

That is correct. That is why his name is RED. The rest of us can be nice or shut up... and that is not necessarily a bad thing. Like I said, there was a time a couple of years ago when Neg Karma (anonymous no less - spineless jellyfish that they were! :rcard) was used to terrorize a few people....
