brilliant! thank you so much.
I got my £150 pounds today so i'm looking on buying some stuff now! As far a partner goes, I think I may just have one. Going to get together to train soon if I can keep him away from bodyboarding for a few hours a week!

Thanks everyone, but I got to rush and organise a delivery of an 8"0 long lump of a surfboard!

xx

I think from 8kg to 10 kg it will good for u . if the weater is good u don't need more than 8kg but if the weater is bad and the ocen is weavey u need 10 kg.
after all u can try it and u will decied after that.

Thanks!

I will actually be getting all my equipment from france now as my dad has kindly offered to buy me it all to get me started (YAY!!!!!)

I dive with a 6.5 mil suit and 6.5kg weight. That throws your 'rule' out the window doesn't it? There are just too many variables in this equation to give a useful standard weight versus suit rule. You need to figure out at what depth it is most appropriate to be neutrally buoyant for your activity and experiment in a safe environment to find that weigh for you. As others have said your last few meals before diving can affect buoyancy quite a lot.

Hmmmm... that's a good point. Maybe if they are GM beans with the properties of metal? (why the hell would you eat that?!)
