my feet and legs are very sinky with C4's, especially in freshwater. to the point that the only good breathe ups I can do must be on my back, otherwise my torso sinks, a big no-no for the final inhale.

Yep, I felt the same with my Omer Rekords and Falcon's when I had them. Carbon has to be more negative (heavier) than plastic blades maybe? But still they were waving up during aspetto and indian style hunting...
(anyway I'm saving pennies to buy Mustangs or Superfalcon: mortgage pending, it will take me six months to reach the budget :head. I think Jon has Mustangs too, not Falcon).

I used to have Falcons and now I use Mustangs. I find the fins themselves so heavy I don't need ankle weights to keep my legs from floating (6mm suit in fresh water) when surface swimming or diving Aspetto. Other ins I've owned in the past had a greater tendency to float when I was diving with them.

My old turtle fins (which is really just a XXL sized Jetfin) were so heavy that there was no need to use ankle weights when diving a drysuit with them. I used my old ankle weights to make myself a neck weight and that's where they'll stay. It might just be a carry over from DIR diving, but the less stuff I have on me the more I enjoy my dive- and the fewer things that can break.
