Wetsuits for freediving and spearfishing

Are there a specially designed wetsuits for freediving or are they all the same (about performances)???

Hi Mlaen

There are wetsuits designed for free-diving, but what you buy depends on where you dive as far as I understand. My 'Home-water' is pretty cold ( Cape West Coast) so I use a 5mm open-cell suit, spearo suits have special features such as loading Pads, etc, but I will let the more experienced freedivers answer you query with more detail.

I dive in Mediterian sea and for now I use Omer Mimetico Med 5 mm wetsuit and I can use it until 11-12th month...
