Hi chaps,

My cousin and I have just started spearing. He is living in Ireland (Rosslare, Wexford) and I visit there quite often.

Is there anyone around that could give us some guides or we could join for a few sessions (in all its meanings :) )

Hi Templar,
Huan will probably be your best bet and wil probably see your post in any case He is based down south Cork/Kerry direction I think. Not a huge sport in Ireland spearing or freediving and their are some rules like bass size and out of season catching of bass and no spearing salmon. Spearing on scuba is strictly forbidden as far as i know so don,t even have scuba gear with you in my opinion as it can be confiscated. A lot of sites may be remote so i don;t think you will have too much bother. Pneumatics are classed as firearms so band guns would be best. Watch out for the ferries!!!!

Hello dude,

thanks for your reply.
We arent going to Spear and Scuba, thats not cool.
I look forward to what Huan has to tell us.

Since the sea is warming (slightly) we are eager to jump in :)

Hi, Im heading to Wexford next Bank Holiday weekend, if theres anybody down there wants to meet UP.

I'm not sure if it's much use to you know but I live in Wexford at the weekends (and Waterford during the week days) and I was looking for a dive buddy. Just to let you know.
