My american and south african friends seem to give a very high value to this book by Terry Maas:

Found it also on e-bay (beware the bid ends tomorrow!)

Cant go wrong with the Terry Maas book. Another nice little book is the Len Jones guide to spearfishing. More related to SA fishes but the techniques are very much similar all over :)

This is one I found at a 2nd hand book fair. It cost me about 50c. Haven't read it.
p.s. The photo is just to show off my view from the front door of my store.
Oh, and those white things are sheep. They taste yummy.

lol. Nice front yard, it prolly wouldn't go over well with the farmer if you speared one, so watch out. Thanks to all for the reccomendations. I'm going to go with the terry maas.
