I want to learn to freedive and spearfish. What are some good books or videos that you guys have sed and reccomend?

My american and south african friends seem to give a very high value to this book by Terry Maas:

Cant go wrong with the Terry Maas book. Another nice little book is the Len Jones guide to spearfishing. More related to SA fishes but the techniques are very much similar all over

I agree on the Len Jones booklet - excellent value. There are a couple of existing threads on books about spearing & apnea for spearing:

This is one I found at a 2nd hand book fair. It cost me about 50c. Haven't read it.

Oh, and those white things are sheep. They taste yummy.

lol. Nice front yard, it prolly wouldn't go over well with the farmer if you speared one, so watch out. Thanks to all for the reccomendations. I'm going to go with the terry maas.
