What is a good Speargun for beginner?

Hi this will be my first speargun and this will more or less be an introduction to the sport i dont want anything over the top but i want something that is good alround. I will be using it at North Stradbroke island and so my Price range is up to AU$250. Can anyone help find me a half decent gun?

My first gun was Cressi Comanche and this what i recommend for you as well. length will rely on the visibility that you have the bad the vis the smaller it should be also please search there are lots of threads related to the same idea.
