what is the right way to clean your wetsuit

well i have tried the old soeap and water in the shower and well i still smell lake in my bedroom ? maybe you guys can help me out here what are your ways of cleaning that wanderful lake smell

If you urinate in it during diving you will never smell the lake again

Coffee sometimes??

But really, Miltons fluid works well and kills all the bugs.

Just don't leave it in to long or make it too strong or you end up with a tye-dye wetsuit

Sink the Stink, available at local dive shops. Works great.

An 8oz bottle is about $8. They have single use packets for about $1. Just follow the directions and take your time. It's not dangerous, but be patient.

Why do you hang your wetsuit in your room? Mine stays in the garage....Mine stinks too!

But I can handle it until I get to the lake! Once in the water....No more smell! :t

On a different note....My wetsuit has been DRY for quite some time...So the stink is probably faded away by now!

Dotey - Maybe if you'd quit farting in your suit you'd be OK...I saw them bubbles coming out of your wetsuit pant-leg at the freeze-a-palooza...Dont try to hide it!

well i dont have a garage to hang it in i live in a apt and so what i fart in my wetsuit it helps move the wetsuit on my body to set it in the right place lol and hey me and wreck only did that one time what can i say i were nice pants he couldnt resist wearing them rofl but i may try useing the stuff that IL diver was talking about

I just hang the suit up , hose it down with cold water , and let it dry!

I do this everytime too. But with carp slime, sometimes you have to do a little more cleaning.
