At the start of a static/dynamic when you experience a massive head spin and loose motive skillz etc etc..

happened to me in IKEA the other day. what is that technically called?

Not sure what you mean by "loose motive skillz", but if you have some strange feeling, vertigo, or light-headiness at the beginning of the apnea, then the most likely reason is excessive hyperventilation. Which is, of course, pretty dangerous, especially if you hold your breath when walking at IKEA, or in any other non-secure environment. Well, but then again, perhaps you were laying in the bed in IKEA. In that case it looks slightly better, but I'd still highly recommend avoiding hyperventilation anyway.

yeah vertigo was the word i was looking for..

normal relax and breath up then stood up and i snapped out of 'vertigo' 5 secs later on the other side of the room... wont be doing that again!

If you breathed up, took a breath, then stood up then i'd suggest that you had a big drop in blood pressure and maybe had things like a "white out" of vision or tunnel vision, maybe a bit of hearing loss and a feeling of "waking up" suspecting you've lost a little time. You muscles may have had some spasms, though this doesn't happen all the time.

Best not to hold your breath lying down or sitting down then suddenly stand up, great way to black out.

Better still, avoid IKEA, it's in Logan which is where all the scary people live ;)

Cheers,
Ben
