Hi all !
After reading a lot about the Murat-style, and thinking about, i did some tests during the summer.
I chilled around the summer-pools in the sun, heated up my body, been very relaxxed. Then i moved to the deepest pool, 5m.
EVERY relaxation gone away, my heard beated about 90/min !
I did no freediving-training a all the last month so i think that was the reason for fast heard-beat.
Ok, breathed in and out deeply, for 2-4 times, breathed out about 50% (just to sink down) and jumped into the cold water, sink down to the ground at 5m and checked my pulse.. damn ! I did not find it any more ! Has been that weak an slow, i did not recognice it !
i just thought "WOW, that Murat-stuff is really working"...
I went back into the sun for another hour. after heating up my body i went to the 25m long swimming-pool, 3 breathes, again a very high pulse, jumped into from the 1m high tower and did 50m of dnf without any problems, was one of my best feeling dives ! (pb was 76m)
But now i stayed in the water, swam another 100m very slow just to warm me up, then i did my "regular" Dynamic preparation, and tried the 50m again. At about 30m the breathing-reflex said "Dive up" ... i pushed it to 40m and that was the end...
My question are:
How do you do your PB dives ? with regular preparation in the water, face in the water, adapt your body to water and so on ?
If you do it like i described here, can you reache your PB`s ??
Is it possible to do that kind of start in a competiton ? say sitting at the basin edge and waiting for the official top, then glide into the water and start your STA, DYN or CW ?
Whats your opinion of my experiences ?
note down everything you can say to that topic !
Thank your, best regards,
Joe
