Gale Warnings only dropped to Small Craft Warnings this weekend so a bunch of us from DeeperBlue and Fla Sportsman forums went to Troy Springs to do some compression dives. Troy is a clear open bowl 70 or so feet deep that's 72 degrees all year long. Jeff R. impressed us all with his smooth style and regular minute-on-the-bottom lay times. Brian set a nice static line in about 45-50 ft for us all to use then proceeded to yo-yo regularly to the bottom. John T. spotted for me and made several round trips to the bottom himself without a wetsuit. Lots of people I haven't listed names were all there too. It was a great day of comradery and comfortable workouts. One of the most memorable parts was rolling over on my back after a nice lurk... and a passing tank diver waved!
