Hi all,
I'm currently living in Bergen, Norway but am planning to move back to the UK at some point this year due to work. I started spearfishing out here and really want to keep it up. The conditions over here are generally great. I've been trying to work out where might be a few good regular spots to try once I move (to Norfolk) but I'm not having much luck online. It seems like maybe this coastline isn't going to be the most favourable?

Give it a try and let us know. We don't see many posts on the east coast, although a YouTuber posted something on a successful dive in ne england I think.

The visibility is generally very poor in that part of the country: there are a few random weeks a year when it is good: so worth keeping an eye on though.

Most spearos that live in that area travel: Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Wales, sometimes Sussex: all have better viz. A good plan is probably to take trips for a few days. You should be able to find people to dive (and drive) with fairly easily in the summer.

Hi, just joined the forum and saw your post. I live in Bacton Norfolk and have just ordered my first spearfishing rig. Looking for anyone who maybe interested in getting out for a shore dive some time.
