Where's the Best place on the PLANET for spearfishing in April '08..?

Hiya

I'm right here!! Just been a bit busy harrasing the local fish populations!!:D:D

Moz. is AWESOME!! I'll get you some email adresses of guys who do spearfishing charters up there.

Another option is Cape Town, South Africa for Yellowfin Tuna in April. Spend a few days here hunting large 50-100kg class yellowfin and then the rest of your holiday spearing tropical Mozambique. Moz. is only 3.5hrs flight from Cape Town.

Have a look at this thread:

So Miles what you been spearing at this time of year in Canada ?

I get to spear fish in bodies of water thats not frozen!! Of course i'm happy!!rofl

Glad to be back......albeit a very short period here in SA, but then it'll be summer in Canada!!!:D:D:D Actually can't wait to go back......rofl

Miles..

Rob Allen wrote me a loooooong email, basically saying that Moz. is quite risky:

1. 3 out of his 4 trips were nightmares
2. You can get Malaria, despite taking the vaccine
3. 4 hour drives take 16 hours of hardship (which I personally love)
4. Their Zambizis and tigers are quite aggressive
5. The weather there is too moody..

Therefore, I'm currentely considering a place in Saudi named: Mastoora.. Any insights..?

As time progresses, I'm seem to be working my way backwards: Tonga, Maldives, Saudi.. Oman will soon follow, then I'll end uptaking my boat to Dibba, UAE.. :)

Guys..

After searching the globe for a spearfishing spot, almost for 3 months now.. you won't believe who I'm gonna be spearfishing with.. Not Miles away, just a few centimeters up, with a person who's born to be Wild..

My search has apparently ended and I wish to thank you all very much..

More posts, opinions & scribbles are welcome by all means.. ;)

Thanks for your hospitality Miles.. Thanks for the referral Golden Island Sands.. :D

Fending off Great Whites with one hand.. and taking pictures with the other.. Sure, that's not too much to ask.. I think.. ;)
