Excellent guns, 1100 is big so a knee loader or extention loadind device is in order...can't go wrong with a cyranos!

Yeah i took it for a dive this mornin and shot a couple of silver fin Travalley bout 65-75cm it works well but is very hard to load i got the hang of it by the end of the dive but is pretty uncomfortable around fast moving currants like where i was today diving on the reef, What is the knee loader????

It looks like a horn , attaches to the barrel, and the "horn" hooks (rests on) to your knee.

I say you feel a pneumatic to load it...a bit hard to describe but you gotta play with the shaft to find its "sweet spot", which is the part you ram in one motion, of course a good spring steel shaft is important to...the shaft the Cyranos bring are mierda:head

I have several pneumatics, including Soviet 'Sea Bears' and vintage Nemrods. The Cressi line has been around a long time,and is a class act. The Seac Asso is a 'knock off' copy, but you get what you pay for. The pneumatic could be what you need, since when used on the low power setting, you can spear lobsters and smaller fish,then you can instantly ramp up the power with a flick of the switch. The pneumatic is great for shooting into holes,and under ledges because there are no rubber bands to get 'nicked' by sharp outcroppings.

I have several Sea Bears, two pistols and a 103cm. I actually like the small guns, these Russian guns come in three sizes, however the smallest one and the mid size share the same power cylinder,so the shaft is very fast with virtually no recoil lift. In my initial test firing in an olympic 50 meter pool, ( freeshafting ) I noticed that at four meters of travel, the shaft, although still sustaining velocity and flat trajectory, had changed in attitude. The tail had drifted to the side, so I screwed on a different tip just to see if this effected any change --no real correction-- so it turned out to be the shortness of the shaft that contributed to the instability of the flight. :hmm I need to add a tail to this kite,so I added the slide ring and the cord shooting line,about eight feet long, and with this 'tether' imparting some drag, the shaft did not go sideways through the water! Shazam! Shazam! :duh
