Hi,

I've got a JBL Magnum (the travel version that breaks down) that I'd like to do a little work to. I have visions of an aftermarket open muzzle and a shark fin shaft. I don't travel with it anymore, so the breakdown capability is not key. Anyway, if I did travel with it, I'd just take along the stock muzzle and two-piece shaft.

So, my question is this: which shafts (notches) are compatible or can be modified to be compatible with the JBL magnum trigger mechanism? The current shaft length (with the break away tip installed) is 54 inches. I'd like to replace it with a shark-finned Hawaiian/Tahitian in 5/16" and with a length between 52-55". Anyone know of a stock shaft that fits this description and is or can be made compatible?

Thanks,

Jay

check out ray odor's website. he makes all that stuff. if he doesnt have it, he can make it for you. i have a jbl magnum for like 14 years. i retired it 3 years ago because it got water in the barrel. also check spearfishingworld.com and see if they have it. you can buy your muzzle from them too. go for the hammerhead open muzzle

I also have the Travl MAGNUM gun. However I need it for travel purposses. My problem is that the shafts are pout of stock.

Anyone knows where to find the shaft that breaks down in two? (in stock)

Leisurepro dont have it - even thou it seems so...
