why are my photos so big?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

my attachments seem to be very large... how can i size them down?
when i read my posting the photo comes up enormous.
 
Your images are so big because that is the resolution they are stored on your hard drive. Our forum software cannot automatically resize them for you as this is a complicated and error prone task.

The best thing you can do is resize them yourself before uploading. A good, free, program I can suggest is http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/
