Well, spearfishing with scuba is just wrong..In countries where it´s allowed or was allowed in the past there is hardly any fish left..(look at Greece for exemple)

That statement is just not accurate:rcard. In counries where sustainable levels of fishery are nor practiced, the fish population is poor. Its not method of take thats important, its showing restraint in what/how much you target. Allianate others who take fish, and when PETA or whover tries to ban your hobby, you will have no allies.
That being said....I havent touched a scuba rig in 15 years, freedives just more fun

I'd say the only problem between tankers and freedivers should maybe arise when harvesting. When jsut sightseeing etc. I cant see why it would matter how you get down there, just that your appreciating the environment. Tankers spearfishing adn gathering scalops, crays etc. though...I'm not a fan of the idea, the advantage is huge and the ability to clean areas out enormous. However, as long as someone is respecting the sustainability of a resource and not raping and pillaging the ocean floor who cares how they got dinner?
Maybe the freedivers just deserve that scallop a little more haha :friday.
The same arguements arise constantly back in Canada about rifle versus bow hunting.
