There are a couple of us in the area, but I am always intersted for more people to freedive and spearfish with. Since we now have this nifty little section just to solicite dive buddies I thought that I'd give it a shot.

I freedive year round in the local lakes as well as on some of the really nice wrecks in the Great Lakes. Email me if your up for it.

hey my buddy lives in cheese town ill see if hes up for some divin up there/ he usually comes here and we spend everyday in the water.
joke for ya:
two mackeral are swimming to the bahahmas to pick up some female company and the older one looks at the other and says boy I can smell those tuna's from here. the other one says naaaa thats me, I just burped.....

Which "cheese town" does he live in- since it pretty much sums up the whole state? rofl

A bunch of us went out spearfishing last Saturday. The lakes are going through a spring clear-water phase and the diving is pretty nice, but a bit chilly for some at 48 degrees.

Jon

You can spearfish in most of the state, save for a few northern counties. Rough fish and pan fish are allowed in the inland lakes and it's rough fish only in the Great Lakes.
