Dear all,
I have (inspired by a question regarding wood properties in another thread) made a little overview of the origin, physical properties and use of the most common wood types.
Please note; that the overview is not complete and not all of the listed types of wood are necessarily suitable for laminating or use as speargun barrels.
I have chosen also to include lighter and softer types of wood. These can be useful for balancing, making handles, filling, details etc..
Fell free to comment, correct errors and post your own experiences and additional information on various wood.
