Just starting out coastal spear fishing. We used to fish the rivers in texas, however the ocean is a whole new beast. Got stationed here a few years ago with the Marine Corps and wanted to try out my old hobby in the larger waters.
Anyone have any tips or knowledge about first starting out with a spear pole in the area? Looking to use a snorkel, weight belt, and spear pole to go get me whatever I can find.
