Anyone know where I can get these?? Leisure Pro has stopped carrying these - my local dive shop (Divers Direct) is closing them out as well (doesnt have my size!) What is happening to these fins? Can't find an online US seller for them either!

Dude i was just on leisure pro, and i have put these on my wish list for there, im pretty sure they are there. in fact they are on sale right now for $192

Thanks everyone that sent me a message...

My LDS got some in the other day that fit - but they want $270 for them!!

I think I might just end up going for some omer milleniums at half the price since I cant seem to get these for under $200 :(

ALETAS OMER MILLENIUM ICE+

The stores may have stopped carrying them, but they are still in the Omer catalog for 2008. I'm curious now, I'll have to ask Mark L. if they are still bringing them in to the states. I can't get them for under $200 either way....

I'm curious now too - I have an email into omer - they usually respond within a day so I will post what they say.

My local dive shop (Divers Direct) has them, but only 42-44 which MIGHT fit my size 12 feet but I think the 46-48 would be a better fit (haven't tried them on though!) I guess I need to go try them on w/ a neoprene sock and see. But $270 for the fins is a bit steep - they had them for $219 not too long ago :(

You'll want the bigger size I'm guessing. I wear an 11 - 13 depending on shoe brand. I have the 46-48. a 3mm sock is snug for me a 5mm sock is almost impossible. Although the Rekords I got and just tried last night fit just a little looser than the Milleniums I had before.

I know the Rekords went up a little this year too. I'm guessing the value of the dollar and the price of gas has contributed.

I just got this response from omer:

Our north America warehouse is full of ICE fins and I thought they would have them in stock. Speak to someone else at the company or Warren at the Orlando store or James, and Sol Kish at Leisure Pro and they will both set you strait on the availability of the fins. The price has gone up from last year that's the only change we're aware of.

Regards,

I find it weird that two shops tell me they are discontinued - yet neither is apparently right..I guess I need to go talk to the higher authorities at the shop and see if then can get in the bigger size!

Yeah, I got a reply from Mark L. too. I figured they were still available, they are still pretty popular as far as I know. Like I offered, I can order through the shop I work for and sell them for $260 and I personally will cover the shipping. That's the best I can do. They went up about $20 from last year. Good Luck, let us know how it works out for you.
