“The XTAR D40 is no ordinary underwater video light. You can change the diameter of its beam fully manually from 4 degrees to 77 degrees. This feature is pretty unique in the underwater lighting scene and makes it possible to use the same light without any add-ons for a variety of different shot types (namely mid shots, close-ups and snoot lighting).
The output power could be a little stronger and the light quality/beam consistency a little better, but hey, it still is a pretty awesome underwater video light.”
