Yamamoto 45 - HOT!!

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Just keep on going with this, guys, just keep...on....going....:inlove

NOW I understand Italians!!!!

I see that Italia is shaped like a boot which was once fashionable and now, again, is. And that it is a land of erectile lakes in which men in opinionably engorged wetsuits find themselves, no less, inhospitablized. But yet I remain also, as having a question. But am unsure what it is, except insofar as I hope it involves female breasts by way of an answer.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry to go back to the original point of the thread and spoil all the fun but I do have a question. I am about to order an Elios and was wondering if the freedown in 3mm would be good for our midwest waters as I hate being hot underwater?

Yamamoto45 is extremely HOT. A top notch, pure Italian product!!!

Hi Mike,

3 mil freedown is apt to be pretty fragile. If you winter dive, of course it will be too thin - but I'm using a 3 mil heiwa (smoothskin) right now - temps are in the upper 50s - 40s at depth - maybe 60 on the surface with warm air.

If you are not accustomed to smoothskin suits (no nylon) you really need to be careful - I blew the neck out of my 5 mil last november. I also suggest getting a 1.5-2 mil vest to put under it when its really cold - big help. My vest is titanium in/nylon out.

Without nylon the vest would be too fragile in that thickness. - 5 mil is really the sort of bread and butter suit in the midwest - but today surface temp was 64 - probably 48 or so at 15 feet and we did fine. I do alot of monofin sprints however - if you are spearing you'll need a thicker suit.

But yet I remain also, as having a question. But am unsure what it is, except insofar as I hope it involves female breasts by way of an answer.

Problem fixed, Fondueset.
Watch the pic attached below and reverse the process: imagine that water spills into the breasts from outside, and not the other way round.
There you go with your hot wetsuit problem.

Just manage to pierce two riveted eylets in your westuit, at the level of your nipples, so to open a way in for water and get relief from the heat.

As a technically insightful side effect, the temperature of the water will make your nipples stiff, so that they (the nipples) will protrude out of the eyelets, to work like a valve and regulate the input.

Simple as that. Here's the gracious "Fontana delle tette" (Fountain of the tits) from which I got this incredibly cool idea. Reverse the process and enjoy.
Hope this helps.

I have a 3mm Freedown suit made from Heiwa, and it's pretty tough.

I tried on my 3mm open cell freedown last night.... I haven't been that nervous since that girl asked me to come for a walk in the sandunes when I was 16
