Yet another new freediving computer - Omer MIK 1

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Yes, you can get it anywhere. My club colleagues bought them in Italy for 210€. I do not have the URL address, but can ask. Or perhaps you find it quicker with some Googling. A price over 250€ is more usual, but I saw also some at LeisurePro for slightly above $200 I believe. The problem is, that you mostly get the watch with the battery issue, so you have to send it back to Aeris for a fix - so add the shipping cost to it.

Hi trux, im googling like hell and cant find them except in US or Oz, can you link me to a shop that sells f10, preferably in UK but anywhere in europe will do

Well, if you prefer buying locally, you can either go to Aeris website and lookup a distributor nearby, or contact a local scuba store asking them for a quote - they will certainly be able ordering it for you. Or in Google, click the "advanced search" link and then limit the search to a specific country in the advanced options. Alternatively, you can browse through the stores of some major online vednors in the lands you chose. I already posted links to some French stores in the F.10 threads, and others posted links in other countries, so make sure to check those threads too.
 
Nope no joy anywhere, I did search those places already So I ordered an Oceanic Geo 2. Looks like it has tonnes of features and comes with a lifetime warranty.
 
How no joy? There are plenty of links on the places I mentioned. However, the Geo 2 is a decent choice, and being another Pelagic computer, it is not too different from the f.10
 
Prior to you post i had sent emails to the various european stockists as detailed on the aeris site with no reply. I Googled for ..... a long time with no european results and called up a dive shop in the uk to order it for me but they said their aeris stockist didn't carry it. Oh and I looked through the f10 thread must have missed the shop links in there.

The shop I called explained the Lifetime garuntee on the Geo dive computers and it sounded too good to pass up. The downside is you have to get it serviced once a year which costs £25 , but that does include the battery change.
 
Well, I know, you already ordered the Geo 2, but just for the reference, there are really dozens and dozens of European stores offering the F.10. One of the less expensive ones that I know is this one:

Yet another link, this time a british one:

Although they do not list the F.10, they offer some other computers for very attractive prices - for example the TUSA IQ-900 Ze for just £229. That's less than the F.10 costs in most stores, and the Zen does also scuba, and has much more features than for example D4 (more alarms, lap timers, countdown timer, freedive deco, user replaceable battery,...). That looks like a very good deal, and if I needed a new computer, seeing the price and features, I'd probably go for this one.

Please note that I do not know any of the vendors (except of the French one, which is a local store here in Lyon), so do not know their quality and reliability. Well, I have also second hand experience with the Italian store - two club colleagues bought the F.10 there, wihtout any problems, but the computers needs to be sent to AERIS for the battery fix anyway (that's problem at most F.10's, except if the vendor has already receiuved a very recent batch with the fix).

I am also not affiliated to any of the vendors, so there is no bias. On my website, I use some affiliated links to Amazon and LeisurePRO (who also have quite inexpensive offers), but I won't post themhere on DB.

I also have no personal experience with the TUSA Zen computer, and my comments are only based on the features I found in the documentation.

I know you already ordered a computer, but the links were especially for others, who did not buy any computer yet, and are on the search for one. So although the most of the links were posted in other threads, from your experience it looks like they are not easy to spot, hence the recapitulation
