Your experiences with cheap and compact general-use buoys?

Hey friends,

I'm going on vacation with limited luggage space for equipment. I was planning to do some shallow, very relaxed freediving with a buddy there, nowhere near our limits. I don't own my own proper freediving buoy, and even if I did, I don't have the luggage space for it on this trip.

I figured a cheap inflatable, general-use swimmer's buoy with at least one handle would be better than nothing for some non-serious freediving, just to have a resting spot between dives. No rope, weights, or storage needed, something like this: Amazon product ASIN B09SN13DDYDoes anybody have any experience with using one?

You could also buy a cheap pool noodle when you get there and discard it when you're done.
