Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I'm going to get a local waterjet guy to cut me 5 in aluminum, and 5 in stainless. I'll still have a fair bit of machine work and cleanining up to do, but then I can see which feels best.

Jason - I don't think that I would just epoxy them in place. I would feel better with something more substantial. Either a pin that runs sideways through the round stud, or a small bolt that screws down from the top of the gun and into a tapped hole in the rear stud. I am even thinking that there may be a way to hide that screw so that it is under the trigger mech, and wont' show once the gun is assembled. Let me play with that a little.
 
they shoot straighter, especially under high band power. they are much easier to reload also
 
hey guns look sick, just started making two of my own and am trying to find milled carbon for the track and was wondering if that was put in the epoxy for the colour or does it add strength? could i just use a dye in the epoxy for the same effect???????
 
The epoxy mixture is micro fibers, GRAPHITE, and I add a little black pigment just to get it really dark
