airguns: Sporasub One Air 2012!!!

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Anyone out here pick up a 120 by chance? any other reviews

Nope. There aren't any available to the public as far as I know. I'm referring to the WHOLE LINE>

What a bunch of crap, seriously how long does it take to develop something like this. Ill stick with my 133 bluewater for sake of my sanity. Haha.

Its not in stock they only have it up there till it does come back in. There is no check out icon to put it in your cart.

I agree.
What is wrong with manufactors??
This year I got a brand new 200$$
Mask that I did a crossover class on(rebreather))
Was getting water in the mask, I'm thinking it
Doesn't fit but it does, come to find out there
Was a problem with the manufactoring of it.
You would think they would have done a recall
Or at least contact the lds.

I am sure we are not the only forum talking about the one air, you would think someone would make an official, factual & truthful explanation about what has gone wrong?

Yeah i tried it again and it didnt work. Looks like they have taken it down and that link is no longer to the gun and now just the index..I still never found the add to cart icon, then again, im an idiot. I refreshed the original tab that had the gun in it and it brought me to the index.

If you got to.checkout.order .... do it.

I think shops are getting allocated 1&2 at a time

As soon as they are sold they remove it

I don't see the button either. Could also be an IP filtering service county specific hosting side.

Ill try a few proxy's later

But the link works for me

Im not wasting my money on that turd. Im not impressed with how they have handled everything. Making it out to be the best thing since sliced bread when it looks like a modified airbalete. Ill modify an asso or a sten and at least be able to go shoot something this year...

There seems to be a trend these days to announce new product well before the item is in production in order to build up potential customers' expectations and generate a lot of free publicity. The "Airbalete" was on a similar path as it too was shown in mock-up form long before production guns became available. Sometimes it pays to wait and let the gun be sorted out before rushing in to buy the first release. The "Airbalete" had a few later tweaks and I expect that will also apply to the "One Air".

Yeah, a company gets a decent idea and they exploit it and build it up only for it to fail miserably when it actually gets put into production.. I initially considered this gun because it was supposed to be something special. How long does it really take to convert a gun with a dry barrel kit. Overseas they could hire a factory worth of workers for the price of a happy meal, so why aren't they making an attempt to reach out to the public.

Reallly! The price for the gun retail would be 500-600 easy here. The price there is 2something in the local currency. By the time everything gets to us its almost double because of the conversion and markup.

Well guys, I'm not sure if they allocate a certain amount of guns to a specific regions or what the issue on your side is, but I'm still able to take it al the way to actually buying the gun and would have was not for this thread. A little expensive to drop more than €300 just to prove the point that I'm able to buy something.

On the original specs I was very keen on this gun, but from the looks of it there still seem to be some issues... so I'll wait until I've seen some positive reviews before spending the cash.

Mart, you already know happened - I PM'd you straight away, told you what went down and asked for your advice.

As it turns out, it might well have not been me being an idiot, but a fault with the gun.

Omer have been very good about the situation and have recalled the gun so they can do some tests on it.

Omer have told me I am free to talk about what happened but to be honest, I'd like to hear the results of their tests before I publicly trash their new flag ship product.

To all. If everyone is unsure of the safety of it. By all means DO NOT BUY IT. No sense literally killing yourself over it.

For me, I product test for a few different company's and I know that they wouldn't put a potentially deadly product in our hands without extensive testing first in-house.

If you don't trust a product don't use it.

I still have faith and when ONE is available would like to purchase ONE for myself. Ill be out next weekend for 4 days spear fishing in the OBX NC (17,18,19,20) and was really hoping to put it through its paces then. But alas, have to wait a little longer again. I will be using my ONE Banded. Just isn't the same.

Bro*- did you link them to this thread? Its funny I'm like a poster boy for their products/ brand even though I've been dissapointed so many times trying to get this ONE piece of gear. I have faith.
