AlphaDeep wetsuits - stay away

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
They hate me for this thread so they don't talk to me anymore therefore I have no update from AlphaDeep.
But PayPal just emailed me to tell me that my payment was refunded.
If I can advice anyone using PayPal in the future-log in to Your account for any purchase. I didn't this time and that's why it took so long, over 60 days where theoretically 60 is maximum.

So you're fully refunded now?

I am refunded 90%:) PayPal said that this is all they were able to recover from their account but I am satisfied. I am not after money, I am after justice
(wow, that sounds awesome)

I am done with AlphaDeep now, going back to Elios. If I ever fell like trying new wetsuit again, I'll treat myself with Oceaner. Big thank You goes to all of You people for support in this thread.

First off, i cant belive that the moderators havent cleaned up this thread. PLEASE help us to keep this forum serious.

Is there anyone out there that have actually bought an Alpha suit?
What are your opinions on it?

This thread is magic Sunki. It's a very valuable source of warning, and a good show in the results. As for the rest, we don't need to fix what aint actually broken.

Sunki - we've been keeping a close eye on the thread. If we felt any breach of rules were occurring we would act.

FreeDiving Alpha Corporation .: Wetsuits for freediving sale :. • FreeDiving •

Well, maybe I should leave the "stay away" part up to You guys, let me just say few words about my experience with this company. I just have to say that many of my emails in my spam folder from Nigerian scammers sound more professional than response I got from AlphaDeep.

So my Heiwa ripped again and I was in need of a new wetsuit, I had Elios before so I decided to try AlphaDeep this time. On Jul 8 I ordered Daiwabo wetsuit and after payment I got no email, no confirmation. After dealing with Elios I figured this must be the way things work in Italy and I decided to wait.

10 days later however I decided to check the status of my order hoping to receive it before my approaching dive trip. No answer for two days so I email them again:

"Hello,

I am just checking status of my order and if You received my payment.
if my wetsuit is in making what is approximate date I can expect it?"

Next day I get this answer:

"Dear Mr Piro

Thank you for your e-mail.

Unfortunately we don't accept orders in this period.
The next time please before order inform that.

Thank you for your attention.
Best regards

Silvia Parisi sales dept."

Citando Piooro <piuro76@yahoo.com>:

> 10 days from ordering date and no confirmation, no email, nothing.
> Is my wetsuit
> being made?

In other words my payment was accepted but not my order

So I am thinking that's fine, just refund my payment and we're good:

"And what about my payment? I paid 122 Euro"

But next day I receive this message:

"Dear Mr Piro

We bocked your order and will be shipped in 40/45 days.
I will come back with the track number.

Thank you again
Best regards

Silvia Parisi sales dept.

Citando Piooro <piuro76@yahoo.com>:"

Thinking of Elios can make me the same suit for 10 Euro more in 10 days I write to them:

"This is too late for me, I am going diving this month. Please cancel
> my order and refund my payment"

and right away I receive this shocking news:

"Dear Mr Piro

Thank you for your e-mail.
We noted that you cancel the order and don't want any more the pants.

1)Unfortunately it's not possible to give you the money back, because
are passed more than 10 days and we give as you know 2 days to
modificate the order or cancel the order.once you pay you accept our
terms and conditions.

2)It's not possible to refound you also because it's a custom product.
art 5
Secondo quanto disposto dall'art. 5 comma 2 lett c) del D.lgs il
diritto di recesso non trova applicazione rispetto ai "beni
confezionati su misura o chiaramente personalizzati o che, per loro
natura, non possono essere rispediti o rischiano di deteriorarsi o
alterarsi rapidamente".

In any case we will come in your direction giving a partial refound of
116 euro
NOTE:COMMISSION PAYPAL - 5 euro
Manufacture and material - 60 euro
_______________________________________________________________________________
116 euro - 65 euro = 51 euro.
If you agree write in the next email "I Accept".

Please the next time inform about that for us it's very important.

Thank you again for your attention.
Best regards

Silvia Parisi sales dept."

This is obviously insane so in my response I let them know:

"51Euro refund? This is insane and absolutely unacceptable, I DO NOT ACCEPT. Send me full refund or I open dispute with PayPal"

So then I am asked of my account:

"Dear Mr.Pioro

Your order has been cancelled.
Cancelling order is irrevocable.

Nex time before you do an order or cancel a order you must be sure to doit.

About the e-mail referred that we don't accept orders was referred to
new orders.
All the paid orders go in production.

So in this case we will refoud you the difference.
Let us know your account.

Thank you again for your attention.
Best regards

Silvia Parisi sales dept."

I simply respond:

"I paid with PayPal"

.

Can i ask you something: Would you buy a car also this way you "ordered" and paid the wetsuits?

A normal customer does:

1. first contact the company about availability of the product,
2. ask about shipping terms (delivery costs, delivery time),
3. agree for a deal, conclude the endprice.
4. ask for an invoice..to pay it.
5. THEN PAY FOR THE PRODUCT

If i would buy a car the way you did for the wetsuits, i would be broke now.

Countrys like Italy have strict laws regarding returning money. They CAN return money to customer, if before an invoice was issued. In your case, you send them some money before getting the invoice. Because that you put the company Alphadeep into trouble... your actions could be considered also as money loundry (sending some money the way: "just like that")...and because that...you had problems got get the money back.

Conclusion: IT WAS YOUR OWN FAULT! You did not communicate before a deal was done. You did communicate when it was late (too late).

I have ordered many wetsuits form this company, and never had any problems. The quality of the suits its just unbelivable. Actually this year 2 guys fro our country will compete in thos suits...to have the best suits in the world ..its priceless!

..no offence!

hey andrej :)

i can see your point. on the other hand on their website they have a online store that clearly makes you believe that you can order a suit online, place the order and pay straight away. if they can't handle it, they should disable the online shop program and suggest potential customers to contact them by email instead...

that said, i do really like your suit, and i think it's a pity that such good manufacturers have such an inefficient way of managing their sales.

cheers,
linda

No but I would buy a wetsuit. Especially when there is an online cart that you add the product you want to buy to and a checkout button.

No offence and I don't want to take sides here but the process you are suggesting the customer should have followed does not make sense. Buy a wetsuit from amazon and you'll see what I mean.

The quality of the wetsuits is irrelevant here...

In fact if you are interested to know, not only do you not have to go into those lengths to find out about availability but if a company advertises something (eg a TV for 20 EUR) they HAVE to sell it to a customer that wants to buy it at the advertised terms and price, even if they made a mistake on the price or whatever.

The process i am suggesting will make a perfect sense the first time you get screwed in some internet shop, believe me.
Naive people allways run into trouble.

Because businesses are run from people, there are allways some exceptions of the rule, mistakes, problems...we are not living in a perfect world.

So... The easy way to newer get in trouble is to ask...asking does not cost anything.

Is there anyone out there that have actually bought an Alpha suit?
What are your opinions on it?
Well,
I just got three suits from Alpha, here is my experience:
-Suits are PERFECT, no comparison to any other brand: they are 100% fit to my measures, level of attention to detail in making is unbelievable, material is of top quality.
- Delivery was a little bit later than they first promised (like a two weeks), but it wasn't a such a big deal for me, since I anyway got them in time (before my trip to the see)
So, I am a satisfied customer of Alpha.
Just my 2 cents:D

I Totaly agree with you.The quality of the suits is just unbelivable.
Yesterday i handed 3 suits to one customer. He is very satisfied with the fit, materials and the quality.

So you have a commercial interest in these suits then?

I order suits for my friends, they are customer of Alpha, not me. I dont earn a single € because that. That way me and my friends have the best wetsuits money can buy.

Even if i would have commercial interest...those suits are the best.
And i am a very satisfied customer.

That is fair enough, I dont think this thread is about quality though!
