AlphaDeep wetsuits - stay away

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
the quality of the suits was never in question on this thread the customer service or lack of it rather and the subsequent threats of litigation towards the website and the customer were the problem.
im glad some people got treated well and were satisfied with their suits etc but that should be the case100% of the time , im sure you would be adding to the thread with a less positive comment if it were not the case.
the manufacturer had plenty of time to change the outcome and the related bad press on here but he chose to threaten people and probably damage his company even more, now that was naive .

That is fair enough, I dont think this thread is about quality though!
Absolutely right. It is about service and customer support from Alpha. And about unfortunate experience our fellow freediver has with the mentioned company.
Objectively, Nostress has every right to be disappointed, since he got no explanation of legal complications in Italy with refund request, from Alpha.
What we want to point is: there is also positive experiences with this company, which obviously should work more on client relationships, user- friendliness of their website, etc.
So my personal opinion is that the company shouldn't be avoided, since their products are really superb, but rather approached in a way Ropretster suggested, with a inquiry about products availability, precise delivery term etc.
I hope that this thread will serve also to Alpha company to improve their services, as well to freediving community to have objective information about Alpha wetsuits and their services.

I guess the concern is when someone turns up, digs up a six-month-old thread and comes out very aggressively in favour of the company and over half their posts are just about Alpha suits. It raises questions over what their relationship is with the company. Mentioning just how many suits they've ordered through the company (four personal, five in another thread, three here) does tend to reinforce that image.

I don't have a horse in this race, nor do I know if ropretster does. All I know is that it strikes me as unusual.

Thank you. Let me clear something:

1. none of you guy who complain about Alpha had anything to do with them as a customer. NONE.

2. why do you raise questions about my relationship with this company? You think alpha hire me to post here? HAHA.

3. if the thread is old, why does the admin not delete it? So, its prohibited to post if the thread is considered as "6. months old". Excuse me, i did not know that.

4.You can not believe me, i am a satisfied customer of them? OK, you dont know me. AND you dont know the 2. guys who had "bad luck" ...but you believe their story ...do you really know their whole story?

5.you say "..in favor of the company". Let me ask you a question: if you buy something somewhere, and you were very happy with the service and purchase...you would not tell your positive experience to other people, friends about that?

Have a great day.

Regardless of how far you are going to prove a point it doesn't actually change the facts that
1, the complaints department decided threaten deeper blue
2 , refuse a refund after taking an order when the company was in no position to satisfy it
3, repeatedly have a company representative on the thread threatening everyone who dared disagree with his opinion ,epic fail .

In my opinion you should of started a new thread entitled I LOVE ALPHA DEEP instead of reigniting flames to an argumentative thread which has been dead for a while

As for alpha deep they could of salvaged their reputation easily by being less aggressive on here and directly friendly towards the customer instead of reusing a refund
If I was in the position of AD I'd certainly contacted the guy with a discount or some other olive branch of some sort .
Thanks for taking the time to speak up for Alpha Deep I'm sure they're really pleased to have this thread up and running again
Hope you have a real swell day too

...i dont want to prove anything! i dont need to.

...what thread i want to open its my own thing, OK ?

...again: i am not involved in their business: what this company thinks about my posts its their thing. Note mine, not yours.

And excuse me, for reigniting flames.

Calm down folk, there is plenty enough bad karma on this thread already!

Robretster, I am happy for you if you feel you have had a good service from Alpha but, rejuvenating this thread is not going to help their reputation on this forum!

OK, i agree... leave it.

Thanks to all who participated on the debate....

No offense.

Nice day to all!

Agreed mate damage has been done
Move swiftly on
No offence taken and I must admit I was taking the piss

Can i ask you something: Would you buy a car also this way you "ordered" and paid the wetsuits?

A normal customer does:

1. first contact the company about availability of the product,
2. ask about shipping terms (delivery costs, delivery time),
3. agree for a deal, conclude the endprice.
4. ask for an invoice..to pay it.
5. THEN PAY FOR THE PRODUCT

If i would buy a car the way you did for the wetsuits, i would be broke now.

Countrys like Italy have strict laws regarding returning money. They CAN return money to customer, if before an invoice was issued. In your case, you send them some money before getting the invoice. Because that you put the company Alphadeep into trouble... your actions could be considered also as money loundry (sending some money the way: "just like that")...and because that...you had problems got get the money back.

Conclusion: IT WAS YOUR OWN FAULT! You did not communicate before a deal was done. You did communicate when it was late (too late).

I have ordered many wetsuits form this company, and never had any problems. The quality of the suits its just unbelivable. Actually this year 2 guys fro our country will compete in thos suits...to have the best suits in the world ..its priceless!

..no offence!

Comparing $200 wetsuit to a car? Doesn't make much sense does it?

Usually when I buy cars I spend little more than $200 plus I get to drive the car before I buy it. And yes, when ordering product online most times it has to do with trust.

But I am glad Your wetsuit turned out fine, please understand I am not hater. I shared many positive opinions before about various manufacturers when I was happy with the product. With Alpha I was just being fair by speaking up when I felt I wasn't treated FAIR

Nostres, thanks for your opinion. I think we all agreed not to post on this thread...it does not make any sense anymore.
