this trip was to much fun. had a great time, food was great. I tried to have fish every day, i think i only missed one day. sorry a had to take off b4 the last dinner! we shoud do that again soon

Great trip! Hardcore is what it is, diving up here. 9C waters, bad vis, 300 metre walls, currents, tidal exchanges from Hell, downdrafts (right Willer?), elusive fish, 10mm suits, dry gloves, 1:40 bottom times down to 25 metres, 7 kilo weight belts, and 30 knot Zodiac rides in rain to the dive sites!
Elitist? Damn right. ;)

Good bunch of divers including Sherri- not many women up for this sort of thing when Mexico is a 5-hour flight and probably cheaper.

Sorry for those who wanted to come and couldn't. So what for next year? Go further north is what, up to the Queen Charlottes.

Glad to see a good time was had by all, not that I'm surprised. Kudos to Sheri! Any doubles this trip, Eric?

Queen Charlottes next year? Travel from Florida is just God awful, but keep me posted, that would be worth it.

Colin shot 2 Rockfish in an awesome, until now undiscovered world-class dive site!

All right now, you can't post some little snippet about a double and not tell the whole story, just not nice. How about some detail?

Connor

I'll let Colin tell the double-black rockfish tale :)

that was a fantastic site. my favorite is still the wall at the Sea-Lion reef. I'm still having dreams about that abyss.

That's getting better, nice pic, but I KNOW there is more to the tale.

Big thanks to Derek Bissell at Just Dive In for making sure his Zodiac was available!

Here's one of Sherri navigating the kelp.

Wait a minute. That sounds like two divers both got doubles with 30 seconds of each other. Can such a thing be? Where the fish that thick? was Fondueset working his voodoo long distance? MORE?

Hi friends.
I'm going to Canada in 2010 to work and live with my family.
I'm practicing in my parents SPEARFISHING Brazil.
I wonder about the SPEARFISHING in the region of Kelowna and Toronto?
I wonder if these rigião Kelowna and Toronto and allowed the sport SPEARFISHING?
In the region of Kelowna and Toronto which are the best to practice SPEARFISHING Lagos?
I would like to receive responses by e-mail unless it is very uncomfortable for you.

Regards,

Looks like he is just a spammer...

Anyhow.

When you guys do your trips, is it spearfishing only, or do you do any recreational freediving/photography? I'm vegetarian (but not anal-retentive about it) but I'd like a chance to dive with more local folks.
