The site has been advertised for sale for a long time. It's likely that $24 million is way too high an asking price.

Think about it. The advertised property is 46 waterfront acres, with back acreage taking the total to 180. That's an average of $133 k per acre, kind of pricey for raw land on a relatively obscure Bahamian out island with fairly challenging access only by boat or small prop aircraft.

It would seem the listors are highballing it, and it's likely that negotiations would bring the price down.​

I think in Square Meters so that's 46 waterfront acres = 186,155 sq.m. and 180 acres inland = 728,434 sq.m.

So roughly $129 per sq.m. for the waterfront and $33 per sq.m. inland.

So if 186 of us can put up $129,000 to own 1,000 sq.m. each (which is a nice plot of land for a house and a big yard), we can sell the inland area to others for $33 per sq.m.

And we 186 break even And, if we are serious, we can probably get it for $10M.
