Can't hold breath under water as long as on land

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
i have same problem i did not beat 3:45(wet) in bottom (-6.6m)
maybe think why i am not holding on surface!!!...
the reason under swallow bottom my brain clears and i remember nothing...
yesterday... almost 1 months i did not do breathold(dry static)
but in 3-4 days i do wet static in bottom...
anyway... yesterday i made dry very early morning on the sea shore and the sun almost rising,it was warm
first i made streching 5min, 3 times Full pack(20 sec hold each) 5 min relax(lying on the sand) and 2 min sub-neutral breathing and fill 3/4 inhale and max ...without warm up i did 6:31 in first hold..it was really easy ,
in water things changing i dive to -6.6. very slowly stay there like a stone(no movment) but can't break 3:30-3:45 ..i duno why?..
meanwhile;
when i feel firt constratictıon around 3:15 the idea SWB suddenly comes and think will i be ? (it fixed in my brain)
only 5-6 times constraticon more i i return surface, how long do i have to stay in bottom?
all the best, Sedate

In the water the following variables have been suggested to cause lower static times:
- no accidental O2 absorbtion through skin, nose, or mouth.
- constriction of wet suit hindering maximum inhale volume.
- water pressure at surface hindering maximum inhale volume.
- at depth the increase in pressure causes a higher partial pressure of CO2 in alveolar air therefore the diffusion of CO2 into the lungs lessens, and therefore the urge to breathe comes on sooner.
- cold induced shivering can cause an increase in CO2 production.
