It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I think You should move this discussion to 'find a buddy and places to dive', maybe it'll be found by even more capers willing to join then.. :)

hope hope hope so! maybe jeff can get that boat (read: wind!) sorted...
worst case scenario we can go to the quarry, if you want some conventional
up and down the line training.
let's stay in touch tho... i need to get in the water!!!

it's the blue rock quarry just outside somerset west, just before you go
up sir lowry's. around 40m depth, but very dark and cold, not to be dived alone (obviously) and preferably with a lanyard...
we can all go together and i could (literally) show you guys the ropes :)

Dont they do rope skiing there aswell? If so then Ive got a good idea where it is. Cold doesnt bother me much though, never been too skittish of it. But Im not in the area this weekend, Im only free next weekend and most of em after that as far as I know so bring on the diver freindly weather :)

I think we should keep that for a later stage, otherwise we wont get invited to tag along. I get the feeling hunlee goes there quite often. Nothing worse than a freediver pissed off cause they cant go to their depth training spot anymore...

ha ha... yes, something like that :)
good old southern tip, the sun still sets quite late, we could even do a late afternoon sometime if weekends are full?
maybe like monday or something arb like that? if we get there just after five, in the water 5:30... we could still have a fair hour of diving... bit darker tho... if that's possible!

I work till 5 so Ill only get there at like 5:45. But hey from next weekend things are quieter. The year start just hit hard but all will be sorted when this ones over. :)
