Hiya

Don't worry about the weather too much. We have the privilege of being able to choose between two oceans, so regardless of what wind blows, there's always some-where with dive-able water!!:D:D

Just pick a day that every-one will be able to make it and then check the weather to see where we can go dive.

Covert, don't worry too nuch about the rain........ you don't get wet under the waterrofl rofl Actually stunning to lay on the bottom and look up at the rain pelting down on the ocean surface........

The SW wind also makes for good spearfishing on the west coast. Makes the water warm and clean at Dassen and Robben Island. PERFECT for yellowtail!! :D:D

Aagh!... I will be stuck here looking at the sea all day long, not able to set foot in water for another week! If anyone needs a buddy for a dive on week days, let me know, speafishing or SCUBA. I stay in Blouberg and when I am on shore leave I have plenty time during the week.

Cheers
Wilhelm

A better bet than even bellville pool would be scabcenter at the tygervalley waterfront 0219143956 they are situated behind tygervalley (tygervalley waterfront) in bellville. They have a full dive/spearo shop apparently and they took a section of the quarry made a pool out of it and its heated apparently. And then once your done the place apparently has a little coffee shop as well where people can sit and chat. I phoned to ask if i could train there. They said they only train scuba but i can speak to the girl in charge of the pool if I want to use it for apnea training. So im sure they will be accomodating.
