apparently you are a bit of a popular guy down here in Cornwall @Trelawney

Rocquaine would be first choice but as usual we will have the Knife & Bulwer avenue as back up... unless anyone wants to suggest other alternatives?

just wondering if the belgrave works will affect the bulwer ave option - probably.

Can't see that chart on my phone very well.
Quiane rock? Is that the one with the black and white marker?

Lets hope for calm saes & West coast fishing!
Hi Mart, that's a shame re Bulmer av, it is a great venue. Is the coast line south of the harbour (Fort George to Jerbourg) suitable as a dive venue? I have dived a few of the heads out from bathing pool area, but not gone any further south.

Mike, the south east & south coast has a few isolated bays that can accommodate a few divers but there are no big carparks at sea level.

i think Havelet or St Martins point make great start points for a dive and both with fishy potential, but probably not suitable for a comp as it wouldnt be fair on the divers who dont go below 10m. theres not much shallow water hunting.

Not ideal with no sea level car parks, cliff paths are ok for young athletes, but I think I might need a ski lift to get back up! What was the east coast bay we dived in the hurricane last year? (the one where Grant got back in and wouldn't get out He He ) BTW happy birthday Grant!

i do not know how to respond to this :D

Edit:
Ok, got the response after some time. :D
I love Guernsey and I am perfectly happy to be in social, non-competitive couple of days out in the sea, trying to catch many different species and share them on bbq with everyone else. :)

That was Pembroke bay Mike but the bay faces North.
You might not realise this, but a few years ago you went in with Jonny & Louis, only a 100m around the corner, you caught a nice sole.
Jonny, I only know one person who would willingly go down 300 steps with his diving kit let along come back up!

Mmh it will all come down to weather on the day I guess. There are plenty venues but I certainly don't think any should be discounted at all at this stage, unless of course we're saying it's not a comp? If it's a social dive you might start thinking like that possibly.
