Good morning spearing, after practially ripping the end of my toe of slipping down a rock face!! :crutchThe things we do eh!!!!
not at all mate I dive every chance I get im just having a really crap season :head
I dived with shiny1 the other week and only had 1 fish the whole day and we covered a lot of ground. I was that shit Nick took pity on me and gave me 2 of his fish rofl
Im running out of free time as the dreaded day looms and I will soon be chained and whipped into the model husband my wife to be surely deserves. It wont be long till all my dive gear and my much loved boat land up on ebay and I will spend my weekends looking thru the sale items at Next or Peacocks oooooooo I cant wait

Hi guys
I wonder if somebody can give advice,I am planning to go sailing to Scili isles in august.
Is it possible to do spearfishing there?,if it is ,anybody know any spots,tips....?
I would be very greatful if you could help me as I would love to give it a go in those amazing waters.

i heard they dont get any bass there and there might be some resictions on spearing! dont hold me to that mind
I've speared in the Scillies quite a few times now, mostly on St Martins and St Marys. It's true that you won't find any bass over there, they turn up now and again but very rarely. There are loads of mullet however and some marks are just really enjoyable to dive regardless of whether you shoot anything. Some spots, such as on St Marys get straight into very deep water and currents can get pretty lively. I've had great fishing from the kayak really close in with some good pollock taken.
As for restrictions, i've never had any problems fishing there. We have friends there and i've heard one of the lads has started spearing with a gun he got from the fishing shop. I'm heading over there next week myself and said i'd take my kit so i can go for a dive with him. If i can gain any more conclusive info for you i'll let you know.

Hey guys looking forward to catching up with anyone who is coming down to the shop this weekend for the comp and BBQ. Shop is going to be completly stocked up so if there is anything that you need or just want to come and have a butchers your all welcome.
