Like Paul said no camera mount set up for the RA yet, but I seem to remember the shiny1 had a good mount for the RA posted a while back, so I'll do some research and get to it.

Hi Kev, I made a simple gun mount out of a bit of aluminium. It worked fine on my smaller RA guns but on the longer gun i had to adapt it so it could be moved out of the way while loading the gun. I needed to make it work so it could be done quick and easy with no tools.
On both versions i took the grey side plate off the RA gun handle. I used this as a template for the fixing point of the gun mount. I used the same 2 screws that held the grey side plate on with to hold the gun mount on with.
On the mount for the small gun it is held in place by both of the screws but on the mount for the larger gun its only held on by the bottom screw. This is the mount that needs to swing back out the way while loading. The top screw is still used but only for the mount to lock into postion on.
The pics should explain better. I use a Fuji Fine Pix camera and it worked ok for me while on holiday. Firing and loading with no problems.
Some of you may of remembered the clip of the April fools day GT. That was shot using the swinging camera mount.

If someone says you should have watched that Tuna swim on by I think they deserve a bit of abuse! I don't think I'd ever forgive myself if I didn't at least try taking a shot - next they'll be saying it's undersize!

There again I'd think twice before pissing off that big Irish tuna with a pin-prick of a spear!

Hi guys, i'm staying in Shepton Mallet all next week. Hoping to get a dive or two in a quarry, maybe visit the aeroplane and boats in vobster... i could do with a buddy, does anyone want to join me? I'll be free most afternoons and evenings... :)

Inevitable I guess but The Sun have beasted the story onto their online front page and used an unauthorised image and facts. They have acquired the pic from somewhere other than us. Feel free to add to the comments on their page.

if they dont have rights to the image and you, or someone you know does have the copyright then you are entitled to a fee. front page = several hundred quid.
obviously the facts will have 'grown' ;)
get your own correct version out there... you deserve it :)

I would send them an invoice. Especially after reading all the comments. Some of the people on there are giving brett a rollocking saying he should be ashamed he shot a "nearly extinct" fish.

Pa well done on th fish mate. A real beauty

Its kicked off on Yorkshire Divers now over the Tuna ! ah unfortunetly the Sun has done us no favours . Same old crap will come our way ! Loads of people will give there small minded opions ! thats life.

What a crock...

Great Fish, Great Story, Maybe the rest of us will get a crack at one if in 10 years they're going to be as common as cod in our waters as the article says the governments states..

Sorry to jump on thread here but been following it for a while enthusiastically and this Story (not the sun's) is a great one for those of us in the water.
