To be honest mate a lot of hassle but most enjoyable, as I said though not my chosen species and I would be quite happy to let the next swim away.

To be honest mate a lot of hassle but most enjoyable, as I said though not my chosen species and I would be quite happy to let the next swim away.
Funnily enough that's exactly what I said after I took a couple of ray last year. A lot of hassle (not difficult, but takes a long time to do and to clean up) but delicious. Your dinner looked very tasty!
Happy with the not so difficult mate only had a knee op 3 weeks ago so was happy to get in and get anything!:crutch

Nobody has volunteered to do the fillets though!!!
Would recommend with samphire as it adds salt and gives nice crunch, any idea where you can find and when you can pick some fresh?

Alan and I will be down within the next few days to get some more big picasso guns!!! And a new picasso wetty each....I'm sure we will be stocking up on other bits too.

Looks very nice Camanche ,my new black edition will arive from the states in 3 weeks:t,what bracket is that you used ?,mine will go on my santy present,75 Marlin elite,whish is cuttlefish shaped ,just wondering about brackets.

Arrowloop its from Mako spearguns they have a few arrangements for the bracket and arm style. If I were you and you order one make sure you order two brackets as you can then swap guns really quickly. I need to order another one but the postage is as much as the bracket!

Ummmm zero vis tonight...even in the harbour! !! But I did go on a spending spree!! With Alan...I got a nice new picasso wetsuit and a picasso BW cuttlefish gun to blast!!!!

Tom, do you get mixing of the fresh water run-off with the seawater causing poor vis?
Ok....... for anyone interested I stocked up on some more picasso gear, so fully kitted out now.
All I can say is....wow..I am well chuffed with the build quality as usual.
So I will do the honour of furnishing you guys with some pics so you can see gor yourselves. I would highly recommend all you spearos to upgrade yor gear to picasso as I have..

on a good note there was a massive shoal of Mullet in Wey Harbour ! looks like spring is nearly here
I hav dived mine a few times and no rash at all. They r now made with jap neoprine rather than chinese stuff and i think they may hav chainged the glue if there was problems. All i can say about the suits now is they r awsome. Made at high quality and very flexable compared to my cressi technica . Im not slating my cressi suit as they also r a quality spear suit but my picasso suit is the suit for me. All there new gear is awsome and very well built. I have been after this gear for ages as i hav used the gear in the past with great results. Now we hav a uk distributer it makes this quality gear more avalible also givin spearos a choice in brands that can b baught in the uk without massive postage and waiting times. Winner!!
