Well my dive plans for today went out the window.. depmands for fish pie to be made ready for swmbo return from work and what looks like the sale of my boat.. at an extortionately cheap price has kept me in all day.
Urrrggghhh
mind you will be worth it when the proceeds go to a big shiney rock.. hoping that will earn me enough bonus points to get some more diving in!

Congrats to you both Rick..... my turn next.... midwife said any time between now and 16th June.....that'll be 3 kiddies needing fresh fish in the Thomas house-hold ;)

Work been completey mad lately.... havn't even been able to look at the water let alone get in, next week looks the same, but might manage an evening dive if I'm not to knackered!

Hi all, well got round to having a dip.. disaster from start to finish for me at least, dived with Titus at our 'Site B' should have been a good dive, vis was good with a bit of plankton, tide was right for the spot and sea was flat. Long story short I just couldn't get into the fish, didn't even see one worth shooting, saw a few schooly mullet and got attacked by a psycho but big garfish! Didn't get a shot off. However Titus had a great dive with a few bass, and a cuttle fish. The last of his bass was a HOG!! waiting for the weighed weight from him but i'm guessing it might go over 13lb. Making a bad dive worse for me.. lol. In hindsight a number of factors conspired against me, having broken my millenium Ice fins I borrowed some of Titus' which unfortunately are too small.. leaving me severly cramped up towards the end of the dive. Something was wrong with my weight harness, it just wouldn't sit right and I had a couple of equipment failures. Not to mention it had been a long day even before I started diving. Just annoying when all the things conspire and make what should have been a great dive hugely frustrating but kudos to Titus on a cracker of a bass. Those of you in LIC will no doubt be getting a picture shortly!

Well peeps what a storming day on board the “Crash and Burn”
Ben, John and myself launched and after a quick look at the sunken barge in Weymouth bay with not much to report except a couple of shadows and a dogfish it was off up the coast with us.
First stop saw two Bass one for John and Ben, one Pollock and a Tasty Cuttlefish for myself, and after playing with a Lobster its was around the next corner and in again.
Second stop and I missed a Bass with another one for John and a good Mullet for Ben.
A good day out with superb company as ever, thanks gents and see you next week.:)

Dived site A-1/B ;) today... 25ft viz, with 7 knot tide..... but didn't see a single decent fish. Loads of small Pollock and Bass, and some big Mullet, but I wasn't after Mullet today because as soon as you shoot a big Mullet in tide a BIG bass always seems to show! Not today though.... knackered now.....
