Hi guys, I was still hoping to nip down Sunday. Little blocked myself and in need of detox after the shooting...another big one tonight so hopefully 1pm is helpful!

Well all you lot didn’t miss much.
The vis was the worst I’ve ever seen it, got in at Sandsfoot and swam out to the end of the pipe, dived down with my hand in front of me and the hand hit the sea bed before I could see it!
Moved spot to the forbidden area on the wrong side of the Ferry Bridge to have a look for a Flounder and it wasn’t much better there. With the lowest tide that I can remember there was more sand than sea and you really couldn’t see the flatys until it was to late. Having said that I did see the biggest Flounder that I’ve ever come across, well I swam right over the top of it and saw it as it spooked away from me.
Final fish seen were Jim 3 and me 5 which includes puffs of sand from under us as we crept through the murk.
I doubt I’ll be down before the big day now so

Cripes - it's starting to get very complicated this gun building business! But hats off to all those who have the skills to make them, I struggle to strap a nail to bamboo pole!!
I was hoping to get in over the next few days, but there's some festivity on Thursday which means I need to go out and buy enough food to feed 40,000!! Should be able to sneak out Christmas Eve though
