Haha! No, it's worse then that M'Lord - I've got to go...CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!!.... Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!

Hi All,

I am looking at upgrading my fins, as a beginner I have only been using Seac X-pro's. But I am now willing to spend a bit more money. I use seac 3.5mm socks and I am open to suggestions as to what type and where to buy them from.

Realistically no more than £60-70...

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks

I like my fibreplastic waterways - the fin blades themselves were a similar prioce to that - I reused the fin pockets from my old fins. There are other threads dedicated to this topic though...

You don't think I would let you my real bag, that one you have is just a boy's bag and only takes about 18 shells, I will be using my mans bag tomorrow!!!! ;)

Just off to chuck some fluff at a few shoals of grayling :) enjoy work!

Well it didn't rain, but the grayling played hard to get and I only managed a couple - sure beats work though!!

Do you eat Grayling? I think people used to?

Happy Christmass to everyone,

Cheers,

James

Just thought Id drop buy the Dorset thread to wish you guys a merry X-mas.

Went for a dive in New York and its Waaay colder then the UK. Plus I can not find and Area for scallops not that there were any in portland!!!!

I think grayling is better then trout. I fished beat that was trying to get rid of them.
They are nice smoked as well.

The paper says very heavy snow in NY, even more than usual. When I was there 2 years ago in the summer it was in the 90's and yet they have permanent street signs showing snow routes - weird - but that's continental climate for you. Personally I love snow. What I wouldn't give for a white Christmas.

Have some fun in the snow for me and Merry Christmas Jimy and any other DB New Yorkers, whether visitors or residents.

Dave

Happy Christmas to one and all. :friday

maximum rep for Ade for bringing the bottle of whisky & mince pies :)

Sea temp 11c and vis was about 3-4m - found some shell things and Clive bagged a flounder, while Ade played hide & seek with a seal!
