Marwan said:I heard that puffer fish is edible in JApan as they clean it in a certain way before they cook it. It is normally a very poisonous fish, I hear it's the most expensive fish dish in Japan, you would think it's supposed to be the cheapest, better yet they should pay you for eating it![]()
Marwan said:ok this is one of those things that i will never figure out. Fugu mugu, if there is a slight chance it can kill you dont eat it! and by all means dont pay all that much. This is one of those "must do"things if youre stranded pn an island with no other options, but to actually go out of your way to eat that is crazythat's like licking water off the edges of cyanide bottle

It looks similar to a garfish -- but I don't think they change colour! I believe Garfish are edible. I have never tried it, nor seen it for sale -- but I have seen pier fishermen pulling many out on rods.alexanderXP said:Is acctualy is a Pipe fish suitable for eating???It has some meat on the sides....BUT as some of you know it changes color, what makes me a bit worried(can you acctualy eat this small acopus,it changes color too)!!!??
