Thanks OMD. If only people knew how exclusive, rare and tasty:p the big flatties are, we would be fighting for 1st place.....one day...a man can dream.

Tis a nice Pollock though.:friday

Flyflicker's bass is a splendid fish too (ever tried the taste of a european seabass k.p.?).
I did'nt vote for Flyflicker only cause I know he doesn't need the prize gun. Check the pic of his catch and watch that woody thing (Ebansub Evo) near the fish...:inlove

The is loots of good catches this year , and its not easy choise .
I go for my favorite sole.
Good luck .

Well done flyficker for the biggest bass

Interestingly the biggest bass entered this year is not in the FOY as it didn't win the FOM. Donnachad's fantastic 13 lb-er was beaten in September FOM by a flatfish (caught by ???) and it was even a fair vote :D.

It seems long time no hear from you Jimy. So when are we going to see a big striper entered in the HOF? Are you managing to spear from your second home in the Big A? How's the snow, heard it was nearly as bad as the UK?

Dave.

Ah well, I'd have voted for Dave's pollack anyway. Well done with a fine fish. Enjoy Spaghetti's fine prize. Just the thing for dropping quickly down through the current and into the kelps.

Wow!!!!
Thanks guys, I thought I had no chance of winning it with those big flats against me! All fish in the vote were of real quality and lets hope we see more of the same this year.
Will post my first fish with the new gun once the Irish Sea has thawed out a bit!
Huge thanks to Spaghetti and OMD for the prizes and to scottwilson for the organisation.
Am going to stop now as it sounds more like an oscar speech!
Good luck in 2010

Dave
