I'm getting a timeout on trying to access the site

Cliff, I just checked and the server responses rather quickly. Do you get the timeout error on any page on apnea.cz, or just on some specific URL? In the frst case it is probably some temporary local network problem, so you should try later. In the second case, please send me the exact URL and the wording of the error message. You can use Private Message, not to clutter this thread.

Never mind Trux, I tried it on another computer and it worked fine. There was no error as far as I could tell, I was just being redirected to the previous page.

trux, You are unbelievable! You are on top of the things! every time I upload some video to YouTube, I see it in media database the very next day! should I give You some links to the same videos but in better resolution for download or You want You Tube links only?

Yes, if you have links to better quality versions of your videos, they will be certainly appreciated by all users. You can either send them to me, post here, or even better - directly add them to the Freediving Media Base. If you are using MS Explorer, it is extremely easy: open two windows - one with APNEA.cz (any page), and the other one with your links. You can then simply drag and drop the links to the APNEA.cz page. You'll just need to type in a 4 digit confirmation code (keeping out malicious spam bots) - if you then click the "finish" button, it is done. Or if you want, you can hit the "continue" button and you'll be presented with a detailed form where you can add many details - author, description, year of production, disciplines, keywords, etc. That's very helpful for proper categorizing and online searches, but it is not mandatory - I review all submissions manually anyway and am adding missing keywords and other data. Originally I thought the community would help with the completion of the data even at already present media records, but I found out that it was an exaggerated expectation

Same goes for new videos you upload to Youtube or elsewhere - if you take 10 seconds of your time and drop the links on an APNEA.cz page, they'll be in the database immediately and appear on the list as soon as I review and approve them.

As for Czech girls - you may be well right. Maybe even too good for me. That's probably why I married a French one

I tried getting on both of the links listed on the first page and I get a connecion failure or page not found. Problem is I don't know if it is me or the website...I am on a mac. Any help would be much appreciated but I will try again later.Thanks

Well, I've been myself off line couple of days, but the server runs fine, and in the stats I see there were no down times or other problems. It may be some temporary local network problem on your side. If you are familiar with network diagnostic tools, try running trace route to apnea.cz to see where the connection gets interrupted. Also please try accessing the old static video page at Freediving Video Collection to see if you get the same error.
