Went out in the yak to do the pots, first pot little spiders, 2nd pot lots of little spiders, 3rd pot 4 mullet? 4th pot cheeky lobster. I'm baited up with 2 year old mackerel? Do mullet eat fish? Just smashed an entire pack of taglatelle, 1 lobster, a pot of creme fraiche, and a handful of wild mushies. Time to snooze

Finally, perfect conditions coinciding with a weekend and low tide at a reasonable hour! In the thong weed at a favourite NW spot, met this one head on and nearly kebabbed him! Shot just behind the eye stoned him dead. Not a particularly big one, but ideal size for tea for two! Hmmm... Do I grill or barbie whole, with slashes filled with a chilli and lime mixture, or go for fillets in flour and Guernsey butter?

Doh! Mamba's depressurised itself! Anyone good at fixing them or taking them apart? I think it's the ball bearing in the valve gone again which Old Man Dave kindly helped me fix years ago.�� Having to make do with my old Beauchat 60 for today.

Night dive with Ed and Fiona last night in Grande Havre, pretty poor viz, no fish of interest. Told him high tide was pants!

And worse, was a little wobbly when I got home again, ears not fixed yet then, shallows only for me for a while.
