Dived in the tide and choppy water today, a couple of hours of fishless drops was rewarded by a few drops onto shaols of what i am pretty sure where gilties, they were a good size and to far off for my short gun. great to see though:

Nah, id probly miss anyway lol. I have rerigged the riffe with a 7mm so will have to give that a wizz...

hard to say, i think 4lb ish. i did get a shot on one but the spear found the end of the single wrap, so they were a couple of metres off.

loving my Riffe mid handle in this silty vis; i have a 6.75mm spear fitted now and just 2 bands, so not much recoil. its great!
did i mention that Apnea Jersey are selling them now?

Here's a video from today, some drops into the bootlace and then some runs in the tide. I had a fisherman motor over and tell me how mad i am, did i know there's lots of tide 'ere? lol. yup. thats were the fish will be... [nice of him to be concerned tho].

Bass 5.425kgs (app 12lb) caught yesterday . Hope one of these is caught at the Deeper Blue Fish in, the Jersey boys cant wait!

This one was a completely different location, very, very shallow, only 3-4feet! , uptide stalking in a thick kelp bed at low tide. Caught sight of it approx. 15feet ahead, looked like a bloody submarine when I first saw it. Couldn't make a noise,daren't even breath, all the while trying to gain a little ground and move my gun into position b4 it buggered off! . It worked this time...............yahoo!

I notice quite a few of our previous posters are now posting on Facebook which is obviously a shame but there are plenty of fish being caught!!!
I see bass mullet & quite a few big plaice ... come on guys please post your pics here as well.
