Hello everyone just thought I would say hello and introduce myself as a new member. My name is Chris I am a qualified diver but dont do it anymore because of sinus problems. Been spearfishing on and off in Guernsey for about 15 years now. Walked up the beach the other day and met little sarge who recommended this forum. So here I am. I am looking at getting into free diving more and buying some new fins from Apena. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Hi & welcome, the best advice would be to take advantage of this weekend DeeperBlue event here in Guernsey & try to join in one of the free diving courses available

Hi Foxfish. Thankyou for your reply and advice. I went through all 19 pages on here and missed that about freediving. I will be at the wayside friday at 7pm. I have a bald head blonde hair glasses if you see me looking lost come and say hello. Just back from hols, got in at low tide, tried a new area but didn't see a lot
Did see a Back bream which was hiding under a ledge , by the time i went for a shot he was gone
Nice day and needed a warm up for the weekend
